5 Harry Potter Fanfictions You Need to Read Before You Die

Sooooo many favorites… How do you choose? Well, I’ve managed to narrow it down to these five that I’m pretty sure everyone would love. Here we go!

5. When Luna Met Rolf by uptowngirlinlove

Luna moves to Dorset, following her graduation, to work as assistant and apprentice of the famous naturalist Newt Scamander, whom she admired from childhood. It is there that she becomes the sudden interest of Rolf, the spoiled, yet most handsome grandson of her mentor, and where she falls madly for him. Follow Luna and Rolf as they embark on a journey to find love, peace, maturity and…Crumpled Horned Snorkacks.

This ones is a bit more simple than the others on this post, but I love it because it is so well written and sweet.

4. Barking Mad by gracedkelly

When the Marauders fight, fangirls cry and teachers take a breath of fresh air. “You don’t mind me sitting here, do you?” I looked up and found my crush staring down at me. “I – erh, what?” Sirius Black winked. “Good. Don’t need bloody James anyway. Hi,” he said, turning to me as he sat down, “be my new best friend?” Don’t judge me, but I might have fainted a little bit there.

Don’t judge me either, but I might be one of those fangirl. Which Harry Potter fan doesn’t love Sirius? There definitely aren’t enough Sirius slashes

3. Getting it Right by Moonprincess92

Rose and Scorpius share a hate/hate relationship. So everyone thought. Even Rose and Scorpius themselves. It just took them a while to get anything right.

Scorose for the win! This is an amazingly written story that literally made me cry. The sequel, Conclusion to Getting it Right, is even better.

2. Enter Astoria, With Her Hair About Her Ears by Felis Callida

Astoria isn’t a saint. She’s a Slytherin.

This is a long one – shot, and yes, it is depressing, but it is still so well written.

1. Isolation by Bex-Chan

Post Half-Blood Prince. Ron and Harry are Horcrux hunting and Hermione has been left at Hogwarts to help the Order make it safe for the other students. Draco is forced by Snape to stay in Hogwarts for his own protection, but he can’t leave the room he is given; Granger’s room. Hermione is the only student trusted with this information, so she and Malfoy share the small space, and Draco tries to avoid insanity as he becomes increasingly isolated with only the Mudblood for company. Something’s going to give…

My heart beats faster every time I read this. It’s dark. It’s intense. And it’s beautiful. I’ve told friends who haven’t even read Harry Potter to read this and thay’ve loved it too. Please guys, read it. It will change your life forever.
